A
great way to top off your week. Ideal if you work in
Edinburgh or Glasgow and need a break from the weeks
chaos. For those travelling from London, ScotAirways
provide a regular service operating out of London City.
Fly into Dundee airport on a Friday and grab a taxi
over to the hotel. Play: Panmure, Carnoustie Championship

perhaps the most historical
stretch of links in the World. Carnoustie Championship;

the Links enthusiast. |

| For
the beginner we have a couple of great courses nearby.
The Buddon at Carnoustie, with so many short holes is
a favourite. In addition, you should play the excellent
nine hole course at Edzell. It may also be worth arranging
a lesson, there are excellent golf professionals at both
Carnoustie and Edzell. |

|
 |
 |
| |
Why
not come and play the courses that the professionals have
played on over the
years.
The
qualifiying courses for the Open at Carnoustie in 1999.
Monifieth, Montrose Old, Panmure and Downfield. Scotscraig
which was a final qualifying course for the 2000 Open
at St Andrews. Then top it off with rounds over the
Old Course and Carnoustie Championship. A dream come
true for any golfer!

 |
 |
| |
| Another
great trip involves playing the courses designed by one
of golf's most famous golf course architects! Of the 18
courses detailed by us, no fewer than 7 were designed
or enhanced by James Braid. The enhancements were to courses
designed by Old Tom Morris. It surely doesn't get better
than this? The seven courses you can play are: Alyth;
Arbroath; Brechin; Carnoustie; Forfar; Kirriemuir &
Rosemount. |
